Abstrakt:

Governmental implementation of social policy involves support for social groups that are especially susceptible to unemployment. Of those, one ofthe most significant is the sub population ofthe disabled. Therefore it is addressed with numerous financing instruments, also in the form of budgetary subsidies. During the 1999-2003 period those amounted to PLN 1.9 billion. Until the end of 2003, the main beneficiaries of this form of support were the so-called supported employment enterprises and some employers active on open markets. Since 2004, subsidised employment of the disabled has been available to all enterprises employing disabled persons.
