Abstrakt:

The performance of chosen questions relating to establishing the cost of equity in the process of the measurement of the shareholder value in Polish conditions with utilization of capital assets pricing model is the aim of the study. General foundations relating to the cost of own capital and model CAPM were contained in the study. The author also introduced chosen problems relating to the selection of the parameters of this model in establishing the cost of equity, which is the discount rate in the process of measurement of the shareholder value.
