 abstract={The paper present development of electronic banking in Poland over last seven years. Authors of the paper proved that several type of barriers, especially related to technology available in the past, resisted customer for mass utilization of the banking services through Internet. It seems to be that much of them were successfully removed and current prognosis show enthusiasm of the customers to extend appetite on banking services via Internet. This progress is going to have significant impact on development of financial market in Poland and Polish economy as well. Several financial results noticed in banking sector and in other sectors seems to prove that positive impact of electronic banking really took place. (original abstract)},
